Printfil 4.0-3 fix the 1326 error when capturing the LPT1 output on Windows XP

Dear Customer,

The new release 4.0 Update 3 is available for download.

The Update is released free of charge to all the Registered 4.x Customers, without having to change the License Codes. You can simply download and install it over the previous 4.x release to have it up and running.

The upgrade is strongly recommended to all the existing Customers because the enhanced AutoUpdate feature will allows a future upgrade to the next major release automatically obtaining the new license keys via internet.

New features:

• The fix to the 1326 error when capturing a parallel port has been included into this build. We already gave out the fix to all the Customers which reported us this problem anyway (release 4.0-2 -1326-)

• Enhanced AutoUpdate feature. It will allow automatic upgrades via internet to the next major releases.
• A vertical scrollbar was missing in the configuration dialog's "Printers" listbox, so, if in the Windows PC there were more than 11 installed printers, some of them were not included in the list. Fixed.
• Added new escape sequences recognition for Superscript and Subscript effects.
• In the Registration dialog the buttons "OK" and "Register Now" are now turned on/off when needed. Previously some Customers were confused about the meaning of the 2 buttons.
• Definitely removed recognition of the old configuration file format (Printfil.cfg). This configuration file were used till the 3.x version, but now it is deprecated.
• Other minor changes

You can download the new version from https://www.printfil.com/edown.htm. Please, remember to Close Printfil right-clicking the trayed icon before installing this Update.
Your previous 4.x license keys will be still valid.
