We
always answer all the requests we receive.
The average answer time is 3 hours; often less during
working hours. If you don't receive a reply within 1

especially if you're contacting us by e-mail.
1) Printfil's menu
This
is the fastest way to contact us. Right-click
the Printfil's trayed icon (near the Windows clock) and choose Help
-> Contact Support. A
configuration report will be automatically generated and attached to
the e-mail message.
Requires
Microsoft Outlook or a MAPI e-mail client installed (Microsoft
Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Mail etc.)
2) e-mail
If
Printfil is installed on a PC which is not connected to the internet,
or without a standard mail client installed, then you can contact us by
e-mail using any other internet-connected computer and mail client
program.
In
this case please create a "Support Report" as described below and send
it by e-mail to support@printfil.com
3) The Support Center
By the
Support Center you can contact us using any internet-connected
computer, without a mail client program.
Please
create a "Support Report" as described below, then copy its content in
the clipboard and paste it on a new ticket, opened at http://help.aswit.com/index.php/contact
How to create
a Support Report
If
you're using Printfil 5
- Install Printfil 5.8
(if you haven't already done it) without uninstalling the current Printfil version first.
- Right-click
the Printfil's trayed icon and choose Help
-> Create Support Report. After a few moments a text file containing your local Printfil/machine
configuration will popup on
screen
- Now you can select "File
-> Save As" to send it us by e-mail or "Edit
-> Select All", then "Edit -> Copy"
to copy its content to the clipboard.
If
you're using Printfil 4 or a previous version
- Download
the
"Printfil's support report generator" (support.exe) by clicking this
link
- Save
it in the Printfil's installation directory (usually c:\Program
Files\Printfil)
- Run
it. After a few moments a text file containing your local Printfil/machine
configuration will popup on
screen
- Now you can select "File
-> Save As" to send it us by e-mail or "Edit
-> Select All", then "Edit -> Copy"
to copy its content to the clipboard.
