1) New Release 4.0

The new release 4.0 is available for download.

You can download it from https://www.printfil.com/edown.htm.
Please, remember to Close Printfil right clicking the trayed icon before installing the update.

The new version introduce a lot of benefits.

Here are some of them:

• Full 32 bit support to the newest printer drivers
• Greatly improved speed on managing ascii print files. The new version could be up to 100 times faster, expecially on networked Windows NT, 2000 and XP systems
• It is now possible to select different printers without user intervention, even defining a standard Printfil printer (different from the standard Windows one) or defining the printer (and its margins) into the FILENAME.CFG file
• AutoUpdate and Auto-Error Notification features added. They can be enabled/disabled by the user
• It is now possible to include more BMP files on each print job, even without using Filename.Cfg
• Removed PRINTFIL.CFG file for an easier configuration. Compatibility with previous Printfil version is however granted by an automatically executed upgrade routine
• Authomatic correction of the "Last blank page" problem if the source app. doesn't correctly create the ascii file
• And much more
