Printfil 5.0 - PDF via e-mail, new graphic, Capture LPT1 in Windows 98

Dear Customer,

we are pleased to announce the release of the new version 5.0 

The upgrade is free for all the Customers who bought a Standard or Personal Edition release 4.3 since 7 Nov 2005. Other 4.x licenses bought since 2003 can be upgraded to the newest version by purchasing Upgrade licenses. http://www.printfil.com/eprice.htm

In addition to the software, you'll have to upgrade your license keys also. The AutoUpdate program will guide you through the updating process. Simply right-click the Printfil's trayed icon (in the lower right corner, near the clock) and choose "Search for updates". If you are using a 4.3 Standard license on a PC which is not internet connected, you can upgrade your license keys by the link below: http://updates.printfil.com

What's new:

• Added the ability to automatically send via e-mail the PDF files created by the "Printfil" virtual printer and GhostScript, by using the standard e-mail client program which is already installed in the client machine, without needing additional software, like Adobe Distiller or GotoMAXX.
  
  The e-mail can be sent interactively or in background, even prefilling it with an a destination address, subject and body, provided by your source application through the optional CFG file.

• Print preview has been enhanced with a renewed graphic and a new rendering engine, which makes it much more WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) than in past, in particular way when the page is zoomed and with high resolution monitors.

• The LPT capturing option has been enhanced.Now it's much faster in 32 bit systems and works also in 9x systems.

• Added the ability to archive a copy of all the Printfil's captured jobs in a directory of your choice; either TXT files or the corresponding CFG ones.
  
  This can be used also to obtain your jobs simultaneously printed on two or more printers.

• Added the ability to modify Escape sequences and the parameters used to create encrypted PDF files directly into the Printfil's configuration dialog, without having to restart the software in order to apply the changes.

• Added support for EMF background files (Enhanced Meta Files), which works just like the WMF ones.

• Added support for the Cpi8 escape sequence.

• New Help features: Test Page and Dump of the last printed job, to help the configuration stage.

• The Brazilian and Icelandic languages have been added.

• Some additions and corrections have been made to the localized messages files. Our offices will be closed for vacation from 15 to 22 May included.
You can purchase new licenses also during the closing period because the ordering system is totally automated.
Upgrade Licenses bought during the closing period will be delivered at our return.
